With 10 years in robotics, Soheil started by developing a lower-limb exoskeleton during their PhD and helping spin it into a startup, then spent six years at Genesis Robotics designing actuators and gearbox technologies for collaborative robot arms. Most recently, he was a mechanical team lead at Sanctuary AI for two years, contributing to the Phoenix robot’s torso and hand.
Over the past 10 years, Giulio has led R&D across consumer and medical applications, working on mobile manipulators, legged robots, and exoskeletons, and earning a PhD on the design and control of five-finger robotic hands. One of the first employees at Humanoid, he now heads Controls, coming from a Platform Team Lead role at Dyson Robotics Research where he developed a new household-robot form factor.
Ekaterina joined Humanoid as Systems Engineering Lead, owning requirements management, and ensuring clear decomposition and delivery to development teams. With a background in software and EV system development focused on efficiency, safety, and reliability, she’s now bringing that rigor into robotics —where innovation meets human-like intelligence.
Sergey is an engineering leader across automotive, IT, and telecom, focused on complex systems integration and building end-to-end hardware–software platforms from EV AD/ADAS to cloud-connected architectures. He previously led vehicle software development, integration, and testing at Arrival and worked at SODA.auto on software-defined vehicle architecture, HiL/ViL, simulation, and AI features—now bringing that to robotics.
With 17 years in robotics spanning bio-inspired systems, advanced actuators, and humanoids, Hessam most recently served as Director of R&D Programs at Sanctuary AI, leading development of the Phoenix humanoid robots. Holding a Master’s in Aviation Technology, he now leads the Locomanipulation Platform Team in Vancouver.
Bringing 22 years in electrical engineering and 15 years in robotics, Devin led prototype-robot teams at Boston Dynamics since 2009 and headed the electrical design for the latest electric Atlas. Based in Boston, he’s focused on building high-performance teams and delivering next-gen humanoid prototypes.
Now at Humanoid as a Senior Research Engineer on the Manipulation team, Claudio brings 10 years building ML systems across industries, with most of his work focused on Robotic AI. Before joining the team in London, his PhD explored human activity understanding from 3D vision sensors for assistive robotics, and his postdoc research trained manipulation policies using teleoperated demonstrations.
