About The Role

As the HR Operations Manager based in Boston, you will provide essential operational support and help strengthen HR practices for our expanding teams in the United States and Canada. This role offers the chance to directly shape the employee experience regionally, applying practical HR leadership while evolving HR processes in a dynamic, growth-oriented setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage HR operations for the US and Canadian offices, ensuring smooth workflows and consistency.
  • Administer our HRIS and manage employee data while maintaining strict accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity; act as the go-to escalation point for complex HR data or system issues.
  • Oversee the administrative functions of payroll and benefits; resolve employee issues related to payroll or benefits in partnership with relevant vendors.
  • Develop and uphold HR policies and procedures, guaranteeing legal compliance and best practice excellence across both the US and Canada.
  • Partner with finance and legal teams to address compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to North America.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to streamline onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Champion continuous improvement in HR operations, including deploying automation and self-service solutions for employees.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze global HR metrics and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster effective relationships with HR vendors, managing service quality and hitting compliance targets.

We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of HR operations, HR generalist, or HR management experience, with familiarity in both US and Canadian HR practices.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration.
  • Solid working knowledge of employment law, immigration, and payroll regulations in both the US and Canada.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and vendor partnership abilities.
  • Experience supporting cross-border or multinational teams is a plus.
