Humanoid is the first AI and robotics company in the UK, creating the world’s most advanced, reliable, commercially scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Our first humanoid robot HMND 01 is a next-gen labour automation unit, providing highly efficient services across various use cases, starting with industrial applications. 

We are looking for a Head of IT to join our team based in London, UK.

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive 1–5 year IT strategy, aligning technology with business needs, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.
Scaling & Infrastructure: Design and scale IT systems, infrastructure, and services to support a growing organization, from R&D to manufacturing and global deployment.
Security & Compliance: Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity policies, data protection frameworks, and regulatory compliance strategies.
Leadership & Team Building: Attract, mentor, and retain a best-in-class IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
Culture & Collaboration: Act as a thought leader, shaping an IT culture that prioritizes customer service, user experience, and operational agility—comparable to a high-performance sports team.
IT Operations & Support: Ensure seamless IT operations, effective support systems, and rapid incident response to minimize downtime and drive productivity.

Expertise

Proven experience (10+ years) in IT leadership roles, with a strong track record of scaling IT functions in high-growth, technology-driven companies.
Demonstrated success in building and executing multi-year IT strategies that align with complex business goals and product development cycles.
Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and modern workplace technologies.
Hands-on experience with IT operations in diverse environments, including R&D, manufacturing, and global deployment.
Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Prior experience in recruiting, leading, and mentoring high-performing IT teams across multiple disciplines.
