We are looking for the Integration and Robotics Prototyping Engineer – Mechanical to join our team based in London, UK.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, troubleshoot, and maintain test jigs for robotic subsystem testing (mechanical).
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems within robotic subsystems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Assist in prototyping and assembling custom mechanical components for robotic systems.
• Conduct mechanical verification tests, analyze results, and refine designs based on test outcomes.
• Collaborate with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.
• Document processes, maintenance schedules, and testing procedures to enhance reliability and reproducibility.

Expertise

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical prototyping, including machining, 3D printing, and assembly.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) for design and modification.
• Familiarity with robotic actuators, transmissions, and kinematic systems is a strong advantage.
• A creative and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
